emma visits the dog park
lance and i have been having a lot of fun bringing emma to the james island dog park. i think it is great charleston has a park just for dogs to let loose, play, swim, chase each other, and have fun! emma has a whole lot of puppy energy to burn so we bring her there to let her run around and socialize with the other dogs. it's highly entertaining! here is THE emma in action!
after the frisbee!
oh, hi mom... :)
go get em' emma!
....and it's almost time to go. we are all worn out!
on the ride back...
she really likes to feel the nice air conditioned breeze...
and we're home!

wes + jessica
april 14th, 2007
i have been looking forward to wes and jessica's ceremony ever since they asked me to be their photographer. it was held at the palmetto bluff inn in bluffton, sc. wes and jessica had a early morning ceremony followed by a brunch in the wine cellar. most of the weddings i photograph are late in the afternoon so it was nice to do one early in the morning.
here is the chapel where the ceremony took place.
wes getting ready...gotta watch the game!
jessica getting her makeup done
waiting to go into the chapel
the chapel was so beautiful and simple
i love her expression here
they had mimosas out on the lawn after the ceremony..so pretty!
this is the wine cellar where brunch was held
coconut cake...can't you just dig right into it?
we took some more shots after brunch...
i love these ruins right outside the inn
have a great time on the honeymoon guys!

last thursday lance and I took a drive to kenansville, nc for bride-to-be martha mckay!! we met martha at the church where she grew up and then went to some really pretty gardens nearby.
...she looks so cute!
i love finding the perfect scene at the perfect time of day!
this shot reminds me of an impressionistic painting
we met her future husband for a few quick shots after...i'll post some shots of the handsome couple soon :)
