getting hitched on nov. 24th, 2007!

adam and ashley are the best! lance and i feel so lucky to have met this awesome couple. we went to a riverdogs game with them last friday and had so much fun! i love how clients can become such good friends. here are some pictures from their engagement session...their very first date ended up at a park. they just sat on a bench and talked forever! how cute is that? it was only fitting to have their session at the pretty azalea park in summerville.

ebonn's bridal

wow it has been SO busy around here! this past month has certainly kept me blogging away :) let me introduce to you the gorgeous ebonn thomas! we are photographing her wedding this october at the beautiful wickliffe house in downtown charleston. she was so much fun at her bridal shoot last friday. the weather was terrific and she was up for anything :) my favorite kind of client!

rustic backdrops always make for great photos! i like how relaxed and happy she looks.

this photo was actually taken when it was still pretty light outside but i love how it looks like a bench lit up at night.

jessy + ranko

a couple weekends ago i had the honor of photographing a wedding for two good friends of mine...jessy and ranko! it was a beautiful backyard ceremony followed by a swanky candlelit reception at the atlantic beach dunes club. it was so much fun to spend all day with them! we were there from the hair salon preparations up until their big send-off -complete with bubbles and clanking cans on the pavement!

emily's bridal

emily's bridal portraits were too much fun! she has this outgoing personality that kept us laughing so hard I could barely take a picture at times :) we started out in downtown wilmington looking for rustic backgrounds and then headed out to wrightsville beach. we are so excited to photograph emily and will's wedding on sept. 29th of this year. as you can see from the pictures she is absolutely stunning!

thomas + martha

we've been counting down the days for thomas and martha's wedding since their engagement session a while back. of course it ended up being a smashing success! it was a beautiful day filled with close friends, family and tons of celebration :) here are some highlights from their big day.

one day. two ways.

completed! and finally blogged! this past thursday i headed down to a photography workshop in atlanta taught by the amazing and talented nate and susan. the seminar started out in the stylish loft of the great almasy photographers. i learned so much and came away with all these fresh new ideas and techniques.

jon + brigid

a lot of times my couples are planning a wedding from out of town so i don't get to meet them until the rehearsal dinner or on the wedding day. brigid and jon were the nicest and coolest couple!!! their wedding took place in charlotte, nc at the bartlett research facility. it was a beautiful outdoor wedding overlooking many fields, flowers and lakes. the ceremony was delayed a bit by rain but it ended up being a ethereal misty feel. so beautiful for photos!
