mary-kathryn's bridal

some of you may remember mary-kathryn from the engagement shoot we had a few months ago here. she and todd were such a blast! their wedding is coming up on July 21st and we're super excited. the bridal session destination was meredith college where MK went to school. it rained all day but the clouds broke and the sun came out about an hour before the shoot...so we lucked out!

mary-kathryn has such a classic and pretty look about her. it was hard to pick out which ones to show on the blog but these really stood out.

molly + ben

what a FUN wedding molly and ben had! they held the ceremony at the church molly grew up in followed with an adorable backyard ceremony on the sound. molly was so cute to watch during the vows, she was beside herself with excitement!!! all she could say before the wedding was "i can't wait any longer..i just want to be married to ben!" so be it...molly you are now a married woman!

megan + nic

megan and nic had an intimate destination wedding at the inn at crestwood in blowing rock, nc. they are both from michigan, where a lot of my family is from! after just a few minutes of watching them interact it was obvious they were a perfect match. i found out nic has a special talent, he never stresses! that talent sure would come in handy right now, i've been home twice in 10 days! i'm off to raleigh today for the amazing mary-kathryn's bridal shoot and then her brother's engagement session on friday-- followed by a wedding on saturday and a wedding on sunday. lots more pics to come so stay tuned! but for now here are a few of megan and nic's.

dana's bridal

we headed over to the beautiful airlie gardens in wilmington for dana's bridal portrait last week. she and her fiance michael will be tying the knot october 27th! it's going to be such a gorgeous wedding. dana is a photographer as well so it was very flattering when she contacted me earlier this year. i love the images we created from the session!

getting hitched on nov. 24th, 2007!

adam and ashley are the best! lance and i feel so lucky to have met this awesome couple. we went to a riverdogs game with them last friday and had so much fun! i love how clients can become such good friends. here are some pictures from their engagement session...their very first date ended up at a park. they just sat on a bench and talked forever! how cute is that? it was only fitting to have their session at the pretty azalea park in summerville.

ebonn's bridal

wow it has been SO busy around here! this past month has certainly kept me blogging away :) let me introduce to you the gorgeous ebonn thomas! we are photographing her wedding this october at the beautiful wickliffe house in downtown charleston. she was so much fun at her bridal shoot last friday. the weather was terrific and she was up for anything :) my favorite kind of client!

rustic backdrops always make for great photos! i like how relaxed and happy she looks.

this photo was actually taken when it was still pretty light outside but i love how it looks like a bench lit up at night.

jessy + ranko

a couple weekends ago i had the honor of photographing a wedding for two good friends of mine...jessy and ranko! it was a beautiful backyard ceremony followed by a swanky candlelit reception at the atlantic beach dunes club. it was so much fun to spend all day with them! we were there from the hair salon preparations up until their big send-off -complete with bubbles and clanking cans on the pavement!
